Digital Static Locator

The Digital Static Locator measures static charges from 50 to 200 kV and indicates the polarity as positive or negative. Used to investigate the nature and cause of the static electricity problem, this instrument is also invaluable for monitoring the performance of static control equipment in operation. The pocket-sized instrument is simple to operate. The instrument is pointed into open air away from the static charge and the button is pressed to activate and zero the instrument. With the button still depressed it is then pointed at the static charge. Readings are taken at 150mm from subject. LEDs on the face of the locator are an aid to operational accuracy and act as a visual gauge.
