WIRA Carpet Tile Thickness Gauge

Standard tile sizes of up to 600 mm2 can be tested on this unit. Additional sizes are available on request. The tile is mounted on a rigid steel sample plate with raised edge guides, readings are taken at each corner. An optional data recorder (TTG:DTA) is available, which calculates mean values of readings and produces a corresponding printout.

WIRA Carpet Tile Squareness Gauge

The WIRA Tile Squareness Gauge can be used to determine the dimensions of the carpet tiles (BS 5921) or for determining the dimensions of carpet test specimens (BS 5920) for use with the dimensional stability tests described in ISO 2551 and BS 4682. Samples are placed on a rigid base plate and are positioned on two sides against stop bars. Four digital micrometers (two on each of the remaining two sides) measure the dimensions of the sample. The apparatus comes complete with a 600 mm x 600 mm square metal plate for referencing the position of the gauges. Other sizes are available. As an option, the apparatus can be supplied with dial style gauges.
